Electronic Language Portfolio
Accredited model No. 89.2007
This model conforms to common Principles and Guidelines Steering Committee for Education - ELP European Validation Committee
Relation to further education

The ELP is a instrument for the lifelong of learning languages. The language learner can choose among several profiles (versions of the ELP), such as primary, secondary, vocational, higher and professional education. If a pupil moves from primary to secondary education, by simply changing the profile, the details which have already been entered will be automatically copied into the new profile. The same applies to other profile changes. In this way the ELP supports the language learner in his/her learning process during all phases of education, and even in professional life.

The ELP may also serve a purpose in changing school or sector, since the profile makes clear what the language skill proficiency of a pupil/student is and what level he or she has acquired. This is supported by the materials filed in the ELP dossier. In this way language education in further education will fit in better with what has already been learned and continue the process.
